Position Overview
Nolan Group Media is seeking a motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Representative to grow
revenue across our portfolio of community newspapers and digital platforms. This role focuses on
building relationships with local businesses, developing effective advertising solutions, and driving both
print and digital sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
– Prospect and develop new advertising clients
– Maintain and grow existing accounts
– Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals
– Create customized advertising packages
– Present proposals and close sales
Digital & Print Strategy
– Educate clients on integrated campaigns
– Sell digital products including website ads, sponsored content, and social media
– Recommend strategies that drive results
Client Service & Retention
– Serve as primary contact for accounts
– Ensure campaigns run accurately
– Follow up and secure renewals
– Resolve client concerns
Market Development
– Identify new revenue opportunities
– Attend local events and networking functions
– Stay informed on local business trends
Collaboration
– Work with editorial and design teams
– Coordinate with production
– Assist with special sections and promotions
Qualifications
– Sales experience preferred
– Strong communication skills
– Self-motivated and organized
– Basic digital marketing knowledge
– Proficient with office software
